The University of Edinburgh Demands Retraction of Researcher’s Papers

The University of Edinburgh has asked for the retraction of 5 papers by cell man of science and former pedagogue Irina Stancheva following an indoor investigation into scientific misconduct allegations, consistent with Times pedagogy.

A senior analysis fellow with a 20-year-long history with the university, Stancheva was pink-slipped in Gregorian calendar month 2017, 2 years once users of PubPeer, a web platform for commenting on papers, created claims of information and image manipulation in twelve papers printed between 1997 and 2011. The university’s succeeding investigation found flaws in 5 papers that were printed in Molecular Cell, Genes & Development, and EMBO.

Stancheva versed the university’s retraction request in an exceedingly statement and says, “I haven’t artful or manipulated knowledge with Photoshop or the other software system.” Stancheva went on to more defend herself stating that “most of the results reported in these papers are severally reproduced by different laboratories.”

The university’s investigation involved none of Stancheva’s colleagues.
